Currently, the Lab engages in research on aerobic biological wastewater treatment with focus on: Aquaculture effluents, Biocarrier development, Biofilm reactors, Greywater treatment, Nitrification, Nutrient recovery, Organic micropollutants, Urine valorisation, and Saline effluents.
